A fellow blogger, here, is having a giveaway. Goat soap. I have never honestly heard of that, but it sounds interesting. She said you don't have to use lotion. I've heard of goat cheese, goat milk, but never soap, I wonder how it's made. Anyway, she's having a giveaway, so go ahead and take a look, you know you want to!! :)

Stitches!!

I'll make this sound as great and not gross as possible!! My dad was putting up gutters and felt himself slip on the scaffolding. Well his immediate reaction was to grab onto something and so he grab the gutters, which promptly cut his finger and starting bleeding immensely! I had called him because I needed an address for something I was doing, he told me he was headed to the ER because he cut himself. I thought he was kidding at first, he said no. I asked if he needed mom or anything and he said no, he'd be fine. So I let it be. Thinking he had told my mom or was going to before I called. A half hour later, I go to my mom and tell her where dad was. She wondered why I didn't come up right away. Well I'm sorry, but don't all parents tell each other things, then finally tell the kid last after weeks on end? :) So mom and I rush to the ER...where we see my dad, sitting there, blood everywhere :) It was soo cool!! My mom got woozy, I liked watching. I have a picture, but I don't think I will gross anyone out and make them puke, but in the end dad got 7 stitches!
Homecoming is this week, yesterday was PJ day and today was Generation/Decade day. Tomorrow is Superhero, Thursday is Gender Bender, and Friday is Red/Black aka school colors!! Go team :) Haha, anyway! Hope you're doing well! :)

Squished~~Like a Bug

This is my 200th post, people!! So as most of you know my blog name is "Random Blurbs!" Well, this is definitely one of those random posts. Today during volleyball, a boy and I were running for the ball. He is bigger than me and he tried to dodge me, but as graceful as he is, he failed and ran me over and I was squished. My biggest high school fear was being squished by an upperclassman and it has come to haunt me. So now my left thigh area is hurting and bruising. Ya gotta love high school. Only 3 3/4 years left! I can do it........or can I? ;) How is your day? Ps: Whoever is peeking in from Canada, awesome! :) It is my ever goal (well one of them) to visit! :)

NYC~~

~~What is it about you? (Lyrics from the musical Annie). For vocal, every 4 years they take a trip to NYC! This year is one of those years. At first, I didn't know if I wanted to go, I did, but wasn't sure. So today was the deadline and you needed your money deposit. I decided after talking with my parents that I would go, because if I didn't, I would live to regret it. I mean, when is the next chance to go? I can't wait at all!! We get to go to Broadway, Times Square, and other cool places! Anyone ever been there? What's it like? :) Also I get to go to IL for a LEAD conference for Student Council, it's only 20 min away from downtown Chicago! Freshman year!! Ya gotta love it! Have a great weekend! :)

Touchdown!!

So in PE we have been playing Ultimate Football. If you know me, I am not athletic. I have my moments, and today was one of them! I was at our end zone and everyone else was either in the half court of other end zone. Maybe I should explain. We play this inside going length wise of the gym. The volleyball nets seperate two "fields" and we have 4 teams/2 games going on. So here was little me, standing there...the PE teacher was playing on our team. He threw me the football and everyone saw. I CAUGHT IT!! I am NOT joking when I say everyone's jaw dropped. They couldn't believe it! One of the upperclassman was telling another girl and she used the phrase: "With her eyes closed!" Haha, but anyway! Just thought I'd share my exciting day with you! Also, the science teacher gave me a picture of my younger older set of brothers! It was another thing that made my day! Hope you're doing dandy as well!!

Home Again

We got home tonight and I am super tired. Early mornings, late nights and much fun! :) Many great things were shared, and something very exciting happened to me and 2 others. I'll let you figure it out :) (Hint: has to do with water) I am going to let this be all for tonight and go to bed!! I'll share more tomorrow or someother time! Hope you're well though!

Busy, Busy!!

This next week I will be super busy as will a lot of you! :) Tonight we are going to pick my cousin up from the airport, she and her husband and my aunt and uncle have been out West. But she has to work tomorrow so we have to get her, then after we will meet my brother to pick up our camper. He took it this last week to convention. Then tomorrow I will stay after school for the teacher to teach me what I will miss, then I have musical rehearsal, then Tuesday I have an appt. then musical rehearsal, then Wednesday I finally get to go to Boyden!!! I really will only have 2 full days of school, because I leave early both Tues and Wed! I have packed up most of my things, I only have last minute things to throw in a bag and I am all set! I can't wait :) I will see some of you soon! Until then, hope you're doing well!! Excitement is in the air! :)

Unexpected Surprise

Today when I got home from school, I had received a letter in the mail. It was unexpected and much appreciated! I hadn't ever given the person my address etc, but they got it somehow and it was definatly the last thing I expected and especially from that certain one. I am glad for those who keep us encouraged by the little things they do to lift our spirits and make our day!
Callbacks were posted today, and I wasn't on the list. Sometimes that's good and sometimes that's bad!! I hope I get a good part, I got to read the lines of the part I wanted, and I felt like I did pretty well, but I'm guessing since I'm an underclassman that I will get a smaller part and not a main. But cross your fingers!! :) Hope all are doing well!

So Close ~ Yet So Far

Convention that is!! I loved being at Malcom, (even though it was only a day!) so many great things were shared. Lots of people there, it was fun seeing everybody again! But Boyden is next week! Which it is self explanatory on the whole so close etc. Tonight I am auditioning for the school musical When in Rome. Tonight and tomorrow after school and then Thursday is call backs and the cast list will be posted on Friday! I am really excited for it! Also, tomorrow I start mentoring! How fun!! I don't know much else, I should be doing a few problems before I go, so I don't have a whole bunch of problems next week when I'm gone. I want to be able to spend my time school free! :) Hope all are well!

September Already?!

First off, I have to laugh at the posts about sending kids off to school!! It's kind of crazy hearing about that in September, when we have already been in school for a while! Sunday, we will get a day of conv, then the whole conv of Boyden!! I found out that all of my nieces and nephews will be there, which means only 1 brother and his wife can't come. Which is a bummer, but they live all the way out in Oregon!! But it is really really fun when we do see them!! So I am thinking and wondering if anyone has heard of the game "Settlers of Catan" it is a board game that is really fun! Easy to learn and once you play, you're hooked...litterally. My sister, some others, and I all sat down and stayed there til after midnight!! The 4th edition is the one we played and there are also expansions and you can add more people too! Anyway! Hope to see some of you and hope the rest of you are doing well!!
